Wood Fired Pottery

Fall of 2009 I hand-build and barrel fired some pottery. It was a two-part A&S class that I taught. The first part was building pottery, and medieval pottery forms. The second part was at our event, and was the barrel firing. The pieces here are the ones that I made. The small pic show all of the pieces arrayed out on the bbq pit walls.

The Barrel, burning. It was packed with raw and bisque pottery, some made by people of Myrkfaelinn, some leftovers from the pottery studio.
